Business Area Information
We are looking for a successful Operational Managers whom can bring a high level of experience and skills to this vacancy. The Operational Manager will lead the depot team in delivering a high quality and cost effective performance, working within agree budgets, achieving unit cost and working hard to maintain quality and people targets.
Our Operational Managers within Parcelforce must manage and maintain the operational staff budgets as well as other non staff related budgets. They will provide direction and a customer focused vision for all depot employees. You will be expected to maintain a productive relationship with all key stakeholders, which will include such bodies as the depot union representatives.
Other main duties are around ensuring that Health and Safety is complaint and is held to its current high standard.
Candidates must have the following:
Operational Experience within a similar company Understanding of the Parcelforce Operational Pipeline (and its products). Man Management Skill are a must. Stakeholder Management. Customer Building and Customer Relationship Experience. Planning and Organisational Skills are also a must. Interpersonal and leadership skills.
Salary & Benefits
Salary: c£31,000, (dependant on experience).
