Invitations are invited for the role of Director of the Intern! ational English centre at Aberystwyth University. The University has identified that increasing the number of international students (undergraduate and postgraduate) studying at the University is a key strategic priority. Excellent English language provision for students for whom English is a second or subsequent language is essential if the University is to recruit and support international students. One of the key deliverables of the Centre will be to ensure that undergraduate and postgraduate international students have the language skills appropriate for their course of study and it is essential that the University is in a position to enable them to develop such skills. The Director of the IEC will be expected to demonstrably contribute to the goal to treble the number of International student’s recruitment to Aberystwyth University within the next 5 years.
