North Wales Genetics Team
***Working pattern: 15hrs over 3 or 4 days***
An opportunity has arisen for a Medical Secretarial Assistant / Audio Typist working within the Clinical Genetics Service as part of the Therapies & Clinical Support CPG. A Band 3 post is required to work 15 hrs per week based at Ysbyty Gwynedd, Bangor on a permanent basis providing support to the Consultant and Genetic Counsellor as part of the North Wales Genetics Secretarial Team.
Some of the duties will include providing secretarial support to the Medical Secretaries and Genetic Clinicians, typing clinical tapes (discharge summaries/GP letters), retrieving and filing of medical notes, liaising with other departments and hospitals, maintaining records & systems and managing the day to day running of the Genetics Office at Bangor.
