It boasts 142 bedrooms all with private balconies and views across the Bay, 5/7 meeting rooms with state of the art facilities all with water views, and Marine Spa.
The Operations Manager
Reporting to the General Manager, the Operations Manager will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day to day running of the property on an operational basis. This will include ensuring all sales are maximised, all departments are operating to company standards and that cost control procedures are maintained.
Key responsibilities of the Operations Manager will include: Lead and motivate the team on a daily basis to ensure guestsâ expectations are exceeded by delivering a first class service Optimise sales in all areas of the hotel and manage costs in line with budgets Evaluate and monitor standards within operational departments and make improvements where necessary to ensure that the highest level of guest service is provided at all times Review all weekly sta! ff rota forecasts and ensure productivity is in line with forecasted sales In liaison with Heads of Departments, initiate and implement food and beverage promotions within the departments Ensure team briefings are held at the beginning of every shift to discuss the dayâs business and training is delivered to all operational staff Conduct regular job chats, appraisals and departmental meetings with your staff Participate in all relevant departmental, management and company meetings and to drive the customer service strategy Maintain a safe and secure working environment adhering to all legislative requirements in relation to licensing laws, health and safety, fire and environmental requirements Carry out Duty Manager shifts as per the rota Deputise for the General Manager in their absence
This is a busy, varied and hands-on full time role. The hours of an Operations Manager will be to meet the needs of the business and will include evening and weekend shifts.

As an Operations Manager, it is essential y! ou have the following skills and attributes: Experience of working in an Operations Manager role or similar, ideally within a upper 4* quality hotel/events centre, with strong knowledge of all departments particularly F&B Experience of working as a Duty Manager Experience of managing, training and developing a successful team Ability to motivate and delegate effectively Strong knowledge of the hotel/leisure/service sector Excellent organisation and time management skills with an eye for detail and the ability to use own initiative Ability to work under pressure whilst maintaining a positive, can do attitude Customer focused with a commitment to delivering exceptional levels of guest service Passionate about the industry with a keen desire to improve the operation of the hotel Communication skills with the ability to build strong and effective working relationships with key stakeholders in the business and to create a rapport with guests Strong leadership and influencing ski! lls to create a winning team Highly motivated with a drive to succeed to be the best IT literate Enthusiastic, flexible and willing to learn with a professional, prompt and caring attitude
