Business Analyst â" Cardiff/South Wales â" Fixed Term 6 month contract covering maternity leave Salarys range from £34K - £43K per annum however please note due to it being only a 6 month contract your take home will be from between £17K - £21.5k for the 6 months.
Essential Criteria
Recognised business analysis qualification such as CBAP, CCBA, ISEB Diploma or BA modules. Candidates must have proven experience of success in using standard BA methodologies to deliver process, organisational and ICT-enabled change Candidates must have proven experience of requirements engineering leading to the creation of Requirements Catalogues (to ISEB/IIBA standards) Candidates must be able to plan and lead analysis and requirements workshops and interviews with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation. Candidates must have proven experience of negotiating with stakeholder groups and project staff to ensure change scope and requirements are managed and agreed. Analytical and questioning in your approach. You must remain unbiased, focused and independent in the face of conflicting agendas and priorities. You will be able to synthesise large amounts of information, and use Business Analysis methodologies to interpret and clarify this information for business and non-business stakeholders. You must be confident in communicating with staff at all levels of the organisation.
Tasks
Providing analysis evidence to AMs, support staff and the Commission on business change opportunities and how best to realise benefits Pro-actively negotiate agreement on change in collaboration with senior business and project stakeholders Influencing projects to help focus delivery of tangible business benefit for stakeholders Work with project authorities using adopted methodologies (e.g. process maps) to help clarify and define scope of business change Developing requirements catalogues, Analysis models and supporting documents. Analyse results of requirements workshops with the BA to ensure feasibility, completeness, clarity and consistency of requirements. Lead the business and users in analysing, structuring, validation and prioritisation of requirements to establish value for money outcomes. Plan options analysis in conjunction with governance and project authorities and ensure that options appraisal by the Business analysts is independent and evidence based. Successfully manages the demands of competing stakeholders to ensure the Business Analysis unit as a resource which provides an unbiased and independent internal consultancy
