An exciting opportunity has arisen for a team leader to join our expanding Claimant personal injury team in our Cardiff office.
Duties:
You will be responsible for the general management and organisation of a team of MOJ paralegals. You will be responsible for ensuring the correct systems and processes are in place along with being responsible for running your own small caseload of files. You will manage a team of paralegals who will have their own case loads, and you will be the main referral point for the team. Your role will include allocating all new work within your team, ensuring your team meet Company targets set, managing the team's performance and supervising the team's outgoing post and emails. You and your team, will use our in-house case management system to work proactively to settle cases in accordance with the service level requirements of our insurer client.
Essential Experience required:
- Experience of supervising a team;
- Experience of handling own caseload of RTA personal injury cases, either from the Defendant or Claimant side;
- Experience of managing both pre-litigation and post-litigation personal injury cases; and
- Experience of using a case management system.
- Experience of Claimant personal injury;
- Ability to effectively manage a team;
- Committed and motivated for a career in personal injury;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
- Team player;
- Good time management and organisational skills;
- Excellent client care skills;
- Computer literate and able to do own typing; and
- Proven technical ability.
