About the Role:
Working as a Commercial Claims Handler, you will be required to have overall responsibility for the pro-active management of a caseload of commercial property claims from notification to settlement. You will ensure the highest level of customer service whilst paying careful attention to client requirements and controlling claims spend. You will be responsible for managing claims and dealing with policyholders, as well as co-coordinating site visits with Adjuster’s and conducting post visit negotiations You may also be required to arrange for the instruction of suppliers and/or contractors on behalf of clients. You will be responsible for interpreting and applying policy cover and client philosophies.
Key Skills/Experience Required:
In order to be considered for the role of Commercial Claims handler, you must possess the following; Experience of dealing with household/commercial claims Superb communication skills (especially listening) The ability to work using your initiative in order to meet deadlines Able to develop and maintain a close working relationship with customers and brokers Strong empathy skills First â€" class PC literacy Excellent Customer Service skills A professional telephone manner
