Qualified Social Worker â€" Older People and Physical Disabilities Our client has a full time vacancy for a Qualified Social Worker to work within an Older People and Physical Disabilities Team based in South Wales. The pay rate for this role is £17.50-21 per hour. Duties â€" Completing Assessments including, eligibility and care Assessments and support planning. Managing personnel individualised budgets for services users.
Covering Duty when required. Adults Safeguarding. Liaising with other professionals including OT’s, Nurses, Careers and GP’s. Statutory visits and Community Work.
Completion of Packages of Care. Supported Living. Attending Panel applications and meetings. Requirements - You must have a relevant Social Work qualification (BA / MA Social Work / DipSW or equivalent), be professionally registered in the area you wish to work - SSSC for Scotland, CCW for Wales, NISCC for Northern Ireland or HCPC for England*; and be eligible to work in the UK.
Candidates applying to work in England can hold SSSC, CCW, NISCC or HPCP registration. You must have a minimum of 3 years post qualifying experience within a similar role and be Care First trained.
