My client is a leading Environmental Consultancy who is looking for an experienced Asbestos Analyst to be based within the Cardiff area.
If you are successful in a! cquiring this position you will be able to start working in a rewarding and challenging role reporting directly to the Quality Manager. You will be carrying out analysis of bulk samples in accordance with HSG264 and in-house procedures. Your main duties will include;
- Analysis of Bulk samples
- Dealing with Laboratory enquiries
- Ensuring samples are filed and stored correctly
- Quality control check of Analysis certificates
- Organising disposal of lab waste
- Prioritising sample turnaround
- Allocation of project numbers
- Completion of work request and analysis worksheets
- Participation in internal and external quality control
