Due to growth and expansion plans the need to develop a more pro-active and dynamic business solutions and IT services function has become apparent. The Business Solutions Director will have responsibility for the IT budget as well as setting the IT strategy to ensure the IT Department is attuned to the business needs. It is essential that the ideal candidate engages with all business functions, including the IT department, to fully evaluate their current requirements and drive the IT strategy moving forward in line with this.
As a Third Sector organisation any surplus income is re-invested in the organisation driving the quality of services provided.
Who we're looking for
The Business Solutions Director will be expected to have demonstrable experience in the following: -
- Setting IT strategy inline with business road maps
- Building and managing effective senior stakeholder re! lationships.
- Ability to identify business needs and p! rovide Technology solutions to maximise efficiency and eliminate unnecessary processes.
- Working as a valued and trusted advisor to all business functions and promoting cross-functional knowledge and co-operation through 'end-to-end' process mapping.
- A proven track record of enhancing and exploiting existing business systems as well as implementing new systems when required.
- Strategic planning & execution including business case development.
- Strong analytical and facilitation skills to ensure business needs and effective solutions can be clearly and rapidly defined.
- Proven team building, management and leadership capabilities.
