Hays Education are working in partnership with a large Primary school in the Cardiff area and are recruiting foundation phase primary teachers to be part of their teaching team from January 2013.
This long established Primary school has over 400 pupils on role between the ages of 3 and 11 years old. Pupils are from a wide range of socio-economic backgrounds with bilingual and multilingual children speaking over 20 languages in total. There are a numbers of strengths to be noted that include, strong leadership and management, positive ethos, quality of teaching as well as strong and effective partnerships with parents and the local community.
As an excellent classroom practitioner who makes learning fun and enjoyable, you will be able to provide a supportive classroom environment that allows for engaged and motivated learning. You will be confident in quickly establishing strong relationships with children, parents and other members of staff and will apply successful behaviour management strategies and techniques as required.
