An opportunity has arisen with in the Integrated Team, Community Mental Health Team covering the Northern area.
The Senior So! cial Worker post holder will assist the Integrated Team Community Mental Health Team Manager in the management and provision of CMHT services. The main areas of work will be taking responsibility for supervisory support to the Social Work team members and working with the Integrated Team CMHT Manager and Lead Nurse in the overall management of the CMHT.
We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic and innovative to help develop services and the skills of staff. The team is busy and the work is interesting and complex, working with both adults with mental health illness and vulnerable adults. The role will involve significant working interactions with the Multi Disciplinary Team (CMHT) health colleagues and other external agencies.
Applicants must possess a Diploma or Degree in Social Work or equivalent qualification and be an Approved Mental Health Professional.
Registration as a Social Worker with the Care Council for Wales or General Social Ca! re Council or the Scottish Social Services Council or the Nort! hern Ireland Social Care Council is essential.
