Applications are invited for a replacement post of Consultant Cellular Pathologist in Abertawe Bro Mor! gannwg University Local Health Board, based at Singleton Hospital, Swansea. The successful applicant will join a team of 16 consultants across ABMU Health Board.
The Health Board offers a comprehensive range of general and specialist hospital services to a population of about 600,000 people, covering Swansea, Neath Port Talbot, Bridgend, and the western Vale of Glamorgan.
The appointee will undertake diagnostic surgical pathology and non-gynaecological cytology, with gynaecological cytology and autopsy optional. Sub-specialisation, teaching and research will be encouraged.
Applicants must be fully registered with the GMC, be on the specialist register and have the Certificate of Completion of Training or be within 6 months of obtaining it by the date of the interview. The successful candidate will be employed under the terms and conditions of the Welsh Consultants Contract.
