The clean energy corporate team is one of the leading teams in the market for clean energy transactions and you will be joining a team that is extremely proactive, hard working and successful.
We have an opportunity for a Newly Qualified Associate to join our Cardiff team from September 2013.
Key responsibilities:
We are looking for an Associate to focus on the clean energy transactions as part of our corporate department. You will be involved with all corporate aspects of transactions where the underlying technology is clean energy e.g. on shore wind, off shore ! wind, biomass or solar pv. All aspects of corporate work will ! be undertaken from disposals and acquisitions, joint ventures and debt and equity fundraising.
Skills and experience:
No proven clean energy sector experience is required but it would be desirable. Training at a leading City law firm or leading regional law firm is required. You will be advising on complex projects and agreements and will need the ability and desire to progress quickly. First class communication skills and business development skills are also required. You will need the resilience to deliver consistent results under pressure and the confidence to act on your ideas and ask questions when you are not sure.
