Communications Officer
Location: Merthyr Tydfil Wales

Reporting to the Corporate Services Manager, the Communications Officer will be responsible for the delivery of effective internal and external communications.
As Communications Officer you will be required to co-o! rdinate the organisations intranet site as well as create publication materials and templates to be utilised across the organisation along with the management of corporate literature in line with brand guidelines.
The successful candidate will be required to work closely with the ICT department in the development of the organisations website, therefore previous experience of internet projects will be required.
Other duties will include:
Design and publish the annual report
Ensure all communications comply with the organisations equality and diversity policy, utilising a range of communications methods to ensure that all groups are able to access the publications
Organise and facilitate the communications forum
To work closely with Senior Management Teams in the development of communications plans for key business changes
It is essential for the successful candidate to have experience of producing internal and external communicati! ons materials in a range of media, experience of working on a ! number of projects at any given time, experience of internet/intranet design. An understanding and appreciation of equality and diversity issues in relation to communications and engagement.
