My client is seeking a Band 6 Occupational Therapist to work in their low secure treatment and rehabilitation hospital in South Wales, providing care and ! treatment for 22 patients who present with a learning disability who may also be diagnosed with a personality disorder and associated mental health problems. The role will also involve providing input as necessary in some community home step down facilities.
You will require:
- a recognised qualification in Occupational Therapy
- a good understanding of learning disability and mental health
- experience of working within a recovery framework
- a good understanding of risk assessment
- a good working knowledge of various computer systems, including word, outlook and the internet/ intranet
