Our client is currently recruiting for a Tenancy Sustainabil! ity Worker to join the tenancy sustainability team at an exciting time. The Tenancy Sustainability Worker will be based in Pontypridd and rewarded with a salary of £26,300 per annum.
Reporting to the Tenancy Sustainability Team Leader, the successful candidate will be responsible for providing housing related support to applicants and tenants to achieve and maintain their tenancies and ensure they achieve their aspirations for independent living. This will include site based support or floating support.
The main duties include encouraging and supporting tenants to live as fully and independently as possible with the local community, providing information, emotional, organisational and practical support including signposting to other agencies.
The ideal candidate for this role should have previous experience of working in a housing and/or support environment and dealing with clients with support needs as well as a good standard of education, and a! willingness to work towards a relevant professional qualifica! tion. Experience of working with domestic abuse clients would be an advantage. You must have experience of promoting independent living and working in partnership with external agencies.
