Delfryn
Delfryn is a 58-bed site, specialising in psychiatric rehabilitation for men and woman across site. It provides state-of-the-art facilities and multi disciplinary treatment programme designed to assist patients with return to independent living.
Job Profile
The multi-disciplinary team at Delfryn is made up of medical, psychology, nursing and occupational therapy staff. These staff members work in partnership with the patient and with individual community teams to ensure that treatment programmes match the patient’s nee! ds and expectations and the requirements of future community p! lacement.
Candidate Profile
We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic individual to work with our patients at Delfryn. Applicants should have a positive outlook, be self-motivated and have the ability to work on their own initiative, although the team approach is essential.
Individuals should be fully conversant with the Mental Health Act and it’s recent updates; have an understanding of the latest nursing practices as well as the local and national agenda’s that impact on nursing practice and patient care.
Full induction training is given. You will also learn from some of the most dedicated and inspirational people in our profession and just like our young people and Service Users you will be learning all the time through our on-going mentoring and support.
Successful candidates will have to meet the person specification in order to be offered this post.
