A leading Oil & Gas company in South Wales is looking for a new Software Engineer to join their growing R&D team, working on a new arm of their product range. The! y are looking for an enthusiastic engineer who can contribute substantially to the design and development of their downhole and borehole technologies.
The role
The role of Software Engineer offers a great opportunity to work on new and innovative products used in the very successful Oil & Gas market. This is a new role for the business and will be working on full lifecycle product design. The role reports directly to the Development Manager, but joins a warm and friendly team.
You
In this role, youll be responsible for interpreting customer requirements into clever and practical software designs. Youll need to be able to take an idea from initial concept all the way through to functionality. This role will involve a number of complex project engineering responsibilities but will give you the rewards you need in your career.
Software Engineer Technical Skills:
.Objective C/C++ programming on Windows Platforms
.JAVA ! or .NET
.Scrum/Agile Software Development
.Embedded pr! ogramming - C/VHDL
