Job Introduction The Centre of Excellence for Accounting and Reporting is at the heart of the BBCs Finance function, delivering an integrated, sustainable and high quality accounting and reporting service to our business and Finance customers at the right level of cost.
Role Responsibility As the Management Accountant, one of your main responsibilities will be to contribute to the delivery of the forecasting and budgeting processes of divisions and ensure effective short and medium term financial planning. You will be a key contact of reporting for the division, producing high quality monthly reports and building a detai! led understanding of client divisions financial support needs.! It will also be your responsibility to address ad hoc divisional and corporate business queries/reporting/analysis and to produce non-financial and operational divisional reporting.
The Ideal Candidate You will be a proven Management accountant ideally fully qualified in a professional accounting qualification (e.g. ACCA, ACA, CIMA). Your ability to communicate effectively will be strong, presenting technical information in a clear and concise format to finance and non-finance people. As you will be working closely with various departments within the Centre of Excellence, you will build effective relationships by facilitating collaboration and putting a priority on delivering quality information to customers.
