A leading consultancy based in South Wales that are renowned for their quality relationships with clients in the delivery of mechanical, electrical and sustainability design and consultancy services are experiencing significant contract wins and growth. Due to this they are looking to add an experienced and suitably qualified design engineer to their team.
Working on some key and iconic projects in the region, ranging from health & education through to commercial, retail and leis! ure projects, the consultancy offer a wide range of opportunit! ies for successful candidates to develop their knowledge, experience and career development.
The role will entail -
Assisting in design development including drawings and calculations.
Pro-active approach to developing 3D AutoCAD & REVIT skills.
Liaising with other design team members and contractors
Liaison with other team members to plan workload and resources.
Checking drawings and calculations and assisting senior engineers
Assisting in the production of official documents including letters, reports and specifications.
Operating in accordance with local Quality Assurance procedures.
Candidates will need to be educated to HND/Degree level in design engineering or building services related subjects and have practical experience of working in a design engineering role
