Our client is part of a highly successful manufacturing group of companies and market leader in the supply of high quality products to major brands on a global basis. They currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Factory Manager to take up post without delay
Main Duties
- Leadership and management of manufacturing personnel
- Manage production plan ensuring quality is optimised through effective utilisation of manpower, equipment, facilities, materials and capital
- D! evelopment of lean manufacturing techniques to ensure profitab! ility and efficiencies are maximised/maintained
- Implementation of plans and processes to minimise manufacturing costs
- Work effectively as a team member at senior management level
- Financial management and monitoring of budgets
- Facilitation of lean manufacturing techniques and practices
Candidate Requirements
- Ideally educated to degree level in a relevant Engineering discipline
- Extensive experience working within a production / manufacturing environment
- Proven experience working within the automotive industry
- Proven leadership skills â€" strong people manager
- Hands on manager who will be based on the shop floor
- Strong organisational and analytical skills
- Strong communication skills ability to delegate effectively
- Proven project management skills, strategic planner and highly organised
