Communication Coordinator [Turkey]


 

We are looking for a full-time Communications Coordinator with a strong passion for communications, PR, and social media.

As an integral part of our team, this role will allow you to work with all aspects of communications, including public relations, internal communications, marketing, and social media.

Creating content - including writing press releases and brainstorming social media posts – will be a core part of your day-to-day schedule. Other duties include helping with award submissions, taking part in brainstorming sessions, and general ad hoc office duties.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assist with developing a firm-wide organic social media strategy, audience growth plan, content calendar, and measurement/KPI framework with a focus on Instagram, Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn
  • Maintain day-to-day activity across these platforms, from concept to execution
  • Collaborate with our in-house graphic designer to maintain a consistent visual brand identity.
  • Help determine and implement optimal social media tech stack, taking into account the need for social listening/insight generation, cross-platform publishing, comment tracking, and measurement needs.
  • Develop and implement PR strategies and campaigns that align with our company's goals and values.
  • Write press releases, media pitches, and other communications materials to promote our projects, events, and initiatives.
  • Pitch stories to journalists and media outlets to secure coverage and interviews.
  • Develop relationships with key media contacts, influencers, and stakeholders to increase our brand visibility and reach.
  • Monitor media coverage and analyze metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of our PR efforts.
  • Collaborate with our internal team to ensure brand consistency across all communications channels.
  • Manage and respond to media inquiries and interview requests in a timely and professional manner.
  • Plan and execute PR events, including press conferences, launches, and other promotional activities.
  • At least 2 years of experience in PR, preferably in the architecture or design industry.
  • Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills.
  • Knowledge of the latest trends and best practices in PR and social media.
  • Is eager to learn and develop their communication skills
  • Has very good grammar, copywriting skills, and is a clear, responsive communicator (in both verbal and written communications) both in English and Turkish
  • Is passionate about the digital landscape, including social media
  • Is able to take initiative in response to direction or instruction
  • Is passionate about design, architecture, and the built environment in general - and is constantly curious about new market trends, research findings, and stories and how they might translate into compelling content
  • Is enthusiastic about staying organized, and helping implement workflows to do this
