You will also be trained to regularly curate our website, produce our bulletins and programme reports and write scripts and research items for Wales Tonight.
You will take pride in being self motivated and self sufficient and you will have a strong track record for self generated and well researched items and ideas. You will preferably have experience of working within a television news environment.
As our Newsroom Journalist you will have excellent organisational and planning skills and the ability to prioritise heavy workloads, meet frequent tight deadlines and work calmly under pressure.
You will have first class written and verbal communication skills and the ability to develop good working relationships with colleagues and external contacts.
You will also be able to demonstrate good editorial judgement. As our Newsroom Journalist you will have a flexible approach to teamwork, with the enthusiasm to embrace a multi-skilled environment and take on the range of digital production and newsgathering tasks as required.
