Due to further business success they are now looking to expand the team with the addition of a Sustainability consultant. Responsibilities: -Contributing research to inform the development of climate change mitigation and adaptation policies, strategies and tools for central and local government, public sector bodies and private commercial clients,. -Undertaking research to secure sustainable development through the Welsh planning system, developing and providing carbon management programmes including design and implementation of behaviour change programmes,.
- Delivering Environmental Assessments related to new development (such as BREEAM, Code for Sustainable Homes, CEEQUAL), development and delivery of training / knowledge transfer programmes. Requirements: You will have experience in the following: -Development of existing materials on climate change risk and adaptation; delivery of materials findings via reports or in a corporate / training setting. -Particular knowledge of integrated ICT infrastructure would be a particular advantage. -Development of existing materials on behaviour change; delivery of materials / findings via reports or in a corporate / training setting.
- Knowledge and application of community based social marketing / social psychology theories would be of particular use. -Other duties related to the assessment of environmental / sustainability performance. -Contribution to bid writing / client and business development. -Undertake various environmental assessments of buildings / projects / policies.
- Auditing and certification (e.g. GHG emissions, environmental performance; ecological foot-printing). -Data production and analysis. -Preparation of high quality technical reports.
