Key areas of responsibilities
1. Set up the cafeteria for service
o Stock all self-service areas with proper equipment and food items.
o Maintain proper standards of sanitation and physical appearance of cafeteria.
o Obtain food supplies from Food Storeroom.
o Obtain food from appropriate Kitchen personnel.
o Obtain needed paper supplies from Controllable Storeroom.
o Obtain par stock of china, glassware, and flatware for food service.
2. Serve hotel associates during meal breaks.
3. Hold taste panels on a daily basis.
4. Serve associates proper portions and use proper sized utensils as specified in Use Records.
5. Maintain standards of food sanitation and food quality.
6. Maintain standards of sanitation during meal periods (remove trash and dirty dishes, clean up spills, etc.)
7. Each associate is expected to carry out all reasonable requests by management which the associate is capable of performing.
