Our client, a leading specialist in the provision of managed services solutions for operating internet and enterprise applications, is looking for a knowledgeable Lead Messaging Support Analyst to join their Messaging Support Team.

Reporting to the Enterprise Client Support Manager, you will be responsible for delivering a highly customer focused service within a multi-client mission critical managed hosting environment. As the Lead Messaging Support Analyst, you will specialise in supporting clients' messaging infrastructure.
This will include administering and troubleshooting complex technical client issues escalated by other internal departments. You will also proactively analyse issues, manage client solution projects and maintain high availability through proactive measures. Your duties will include: - Ensuring knowledge retention by documenting processes, procedures and changes - Training and coaching 1st and 2nd line infrastructure engineers - Effectively liaising with project managers to ensure client solutions are in line with processes and procedures - Ensuring all changes are documented and executed through the change management process - Acting as the technical authority in the event of a messaging major incident To be considered, you must have: - Demonstrable in-depth 3rd line support and troubleshooting experience - Excellent Microsoft 2003 and 2008 Server and Active Directory troubleshooting skills - In-depth troubleshooting experience of Exchange 2003, 2007 and 2010, including high availability - Good practical knowledge of TCP/IP Whilst not essential, the ideal Lead Messaging Support Analyst will have experience of working within Office Communications Server (OCS) or Lync solutions. An MCSE qualification or experience of VMware ESX or Cisco would also be of benefit, as would an ITIL background.
