A leading aerospace company based in North Wales is looking for the next addition to their quality team to support the continued growth and success of the business.
The responsibilities of the Quality Engineer are as follows:
- Assist in maintaining the company QMS to AS910
- Internal & external auditing
- Complaint investigation and resolution
- Route cause analysis and implement corrective and preventative actions
- Work with suppliers to identify reasons for rejects
- New Product Introduction
- Conversant with ISO9001, ideally AS9100
- Auditing experience, auditor / lead auditor training is advantageous
- Strong quality assurance background from a manufacturing environment
- Strong problem solving skills - 8D, 5Y, Ishikawa, etc.
- Experience of completing First Article Inspection Reports is beneficial
- Knowledge of automotive NPI tools is beneficial - APQP, PPAP, FMEA, etc.
- Excellent communication skills
