Maternity Cover

Salary: £37,012 to £44,166 per annum (pro rata if part time).
Applicants are invited for the position of Fixed Term Senior Tutor in Medical Science in the College of Medicine, Reference AC00240. This post is fixed term to 2 June 2013 to cover a period of maternity cover.

The post-holder will be required to take a lead in the planning and delivery of musculoskeletal biology and physiology teaching in accordance with the outcomes and standards of Tomorrow's Doctors 2009 (General Medical Council ) as part of the Swansea GEM four year programme. The post-holder will also be expected to provide general academic/administrative input to other relevant education programmes, including taught master's programmes.

The post provides a role for a candidate with academic potential and experience and an interest in undergraduate medical education.

Those applying for post will be expected to hold a PhD or have equivalent qualifications and experience, in a medically-related science, preferably with a specialist knowledge! of musculoskeletal biology.
