Job Title: Tenancy Support WorkerLocation: Merthyr TydfilSalary: £18,453 - £22,958 (NJC point 20-27) Dependant on experienceOur client is a dynamic and forward looking homeless Charity that manages d! irect access hostels and provides high quality tenancy support servicesin the Rhondda Cynon Taff & Merthyr Tydfil County Borough Council areas. They are also investing in the development of social enterprise projects which offer their service users access to great quality accredited training and practical work experience.Due to the continued expansion of their successful tenancy support provision within the Merthyr Tydfil area the following vacancy has arisen: Tenancy Support WorkerOur client is looking for an enthusiastic individual with excellent interpersonal and organisational skills to provide tenancy related support to vulnerably housed individuals. Applicants should have an understanding of the issues around homelessness and empathy for the client group. The successful applicant will ideally have experience of providing support to a challenging client group.
The ability to prioritise and manage a caseload is crucial as are good administration, negotiation sk! ills. Access to a car and a full driving licence are essential! .The post is subject to a Criminal Records Bureau enhanced disclosure.
