Our client situated in Cardiff is recruiting for multiple registered nurses to conduct disability assessments. This is a full time role working 37 hours per week (Monday to ! Friday), with no out of hours or on call duties. They are offering competitive salary of £32,000 per annum to the successful candidate. As a registered nurse you will be responsible for undertaking medical assessments and examinations required for the Department of Work and Pensions (DWP) as part of a successful integrated team.
You will also contribute to the commercial relationship between the client and the DWP at a local level, ensuring that targets are met in quality, productivity and customer satisfaction. You will undertake a combination of file-work assessment (which is assessing medical evidence in a written or electronic format) and face-to-face assessments of customers in relation to a variety of benefits and provide a report to the DWP. Full training is given to allow Registered Nurses to become specialists in the field of Disability Assessment.
