Debenhams Restaurant Assistants are the first point of contact for our Café or Restaurant customers, offering service to be proud of and ensuring nothing is too m! uch trouble. They are calm and positive under pressure and enthusiastic about working with food and drink products. They enjoy working in a busy and demanding restaurant environment and ensuring the customer enjoys a relaxing and satisfying experience, no matter the time of day.
Our Restaurant Assistants use their product knowledge to promote our fantastic menu â€" whether that is breakfast or brunch, a coffee and a cake, a hearty lunch or afternoon tea. When preparing food, at the tills, hosting customers or clearing away, they strive to deliver the best possible service to their customers and colleagues at every opportunity.
A strong attention to detail through ensuring high standards of food presentation, cleanliness, and keeping our restaurants immaculate and inviting is vital. Equally, an ability to demonstrate initiative and a flexible and multi tasking approach are qualities which will help you thrive in this fast paced and fun environment. Being able to work! closely with others and the ability to build rapport and natu! rally engage and interact with all sorts of people, are essential.
