Support Analyst

As a result they have a new opening for a Support Analyst to jo! in the business.
The jobholder will have significant experience in an applications / infrastructure support role. Responsible for taking ownership of issue management and providing an incident management service to the business, resolving application errors impacting the production environment and ensuring SLA?s are met. You will be responsible for the technical support of bespoke software applications, speaking with users on a daily basis to diagnose and resolve issues as they arise. In addition you will perform an active role in release management, ensuring all application change is understood and tested appropriately.
Key Accountabilities:
Provide day to day support for internal users of various bespoke and third party applications. Handles and records queries and problems responding within agreed SLAs, maintaining and closing incidents promptly
Communicates information about system problems or changes to appropriate users in a clear and ! timely fashion
Understands business cycles, processes and ! peak periods affecting support requirements
System Administration
Proactively monitors interfaces and process flows to ensure that the systems are operating correctly
Proactively manages problems identified through monitoring or from customer calls
Raises and maintains incident tickets and problem records
Skills and experience required -
Minimum 2 to 3 years experience within an IT Application / Infrastructure Support role
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
Highly organised, able to work under pressure and deliver to deadlines
Excellent customer service skills
Motivated and Enthusiastic
Comprehensive knowledge of Windows operating system, applications and computer hardware
Microsoft Active Directory/Exchange Administration
Microsoft Office 2010
