You will be part of a team ensuring all production and site equipment runs at maximum efficiency. Attend breakdowns promptly and ensure that all planned maintenance tasks are completed.
Diagnose, troubleshoot and repair faults on production lines as well as carrying out routine maintenance.
Suggest improvements in the operation, seek approval and implement.
Establish harmonious relations with the operational staff and to work flexibly with them.
Train operational team members to perform minor maintenance tasks and to assist in major repairs.
Act at all times within the requirements of the Health & Safety at Work Act.
Maintain a records system giving details of stoppages with actions to correct
Any other duties the company reasonably asks to be performed .
Ideally you will have the following experience. Time served, multi skilled to at least HNC. Good balance of electric! al and mechanical knowledge having practical experience of PLC! controlled
high speed packaging machinery. Experience of aseptic process technology an advantage.
