National / Contract Driver

Description: Manpower is at the momment seeking for National / Contract Driver right now, this job will be placed in Wales. Manpower require a Contract Driver to drive for our reputable Builders Merchants Clients mainly driving Class 2 Hiab vehicles â€" performing multi-drop deliveries to customer premises. Must be willing to! drive other vehicle (Within Skill Levels) as requested . Must be willing to travel up to 50miles radius if required and will be given mileage allowance after 30 miles â€" (0.25p per mile). You will be guaranteed 45-50 hours per week and longevity of assignment. All manpower standard terms and conditions of employment apply. Must be willing to work 2 Saturday’s in 4 (every other Saturday) Your first Saturday on call will be confirmed by the transport team. Must have relevant PPE equipment and use it at all time when working (Provided by your assigning branch of manpower).
Candidate profile
Must have excellent customer care skills. Must be on call until 09:00 every day if do not hear from us within this time all drivers should report to their home branch until further notice. All drivers will be allocated a home branch, a home branch is a local branch in your area which you will be expected to report to for any days that you are on call. All drivers will ! be expected to help out with a variety of duties including dri! ving, yard & warehouse duties.
Candidate skills
Class 2 HIAB / Lorry Loader licence essential. Remote experienced preferrable.
