An expanding company based on the outskirts of Wrexham is currently seeking a Sensor Assembly and Test Operator.
You will be working in the sensor manufacturing area and undertake daily product! ion duties as required in the Assembly and testing of various sensor technologies.
The principle daily duties will be split into three main functions;
Strain gauge installation will include bonding strain gauges on to sub-assemblies and sensors using adhesive, solder adjoining wires, adjustment and test of circuit resistances, and finishing with environmental coating as required.
Inter-wiring and wire-bonding using an ultrasonic wire-bonding machine to make electrical interconnections in the sensor element assembly. This will also include hand soldering assembly of small components.
Temperature compensation will be to perform electrical test measurements on pressure sensors and attach a resistor network to correct for temperature dependant output changes. This will require hand soldering and include basic computer data entry.
You will need to be able to hand solder, use a multi-meter and have basic computer literacy. Experience i! n a similar role and previous production assembly is preferabl! e, however training will be provided for all the tasks involved.
This is a temp to perm position for the right candidate. In return you can expect an hourly salary of £6.90, excellent working hour's days only Monday to Friday, free parking and Company Pension Scheme.
