Further informations about this occupation opportunity kindly read the description below. £60,000 to £120,000 South Wales Immediate Start Goodall Brazier is looking for a Consultant based in South Wales on behalf of our client; a £40 million+ turnover private healthcare p! rovider organisation. The role: Managing a Hospital that is provided to men aged 18-65 years of age, requiring care and treatment in conditions of a locked rehabilitation service. It will consist of a treatment environment for patients who have a diagnosis of Mental illness. The patient may present with challenging behaviors, and have elements of risk associated with this behavior, who are assessed as needing comprehensive, multi-disciplinary treatment and care by qualified and experienced staff, in mental health rehabilitation.

These patients may require more security than can be provided in general psychiatric ward environments, but can be safely contained at a lower risk level than that offered in low secure services. Service-users will be liable to detention under the Mental Health Act 1983 and may be restricted on legal grounds needing focused rehabilitation and treatment programmes. The service will provide high levels of therapeutic care underpinned by evide! nce-based practice. This will include a comprehensive assessme! nt of the needs of the patient in order to devise an individualized treatment programme that will incorporate social, physical, psychological and mental health needs within a specific and measurable framework of a thorough Care Programme Approach Plan.

• Immediate responsibility for the hospital to grow this, market the hospital and able to fill the beds. • You will have full P&L responsibility for the hospital and report directly into Chief Executive of the organisation. • Required experience / Person specification: • A demonstrable track record of achieving growth targets with a clear commercial acumen. • The successful candidate will have considerable knowledge of the Mental Health/rehabilitation experience with a number of years’ experience at Consultant level (Psychiatrist).

You will have managed a hospital, teams and be adept at developing and growing service. You will be commissioning a new hospital and filling the beds so experie! nce is essential • Ideally you will be Nurse qualified but this is not essential. More important is your proven ability to develop Branch Managers that work for you and deliver exceptionally high levels of care. On top of this the successful candidate will be enthusiastic, charismatic and have a genuine passion for the Private Care and hospital industry.
