Quality Engineer, up to £30,000 DOE + Benefits We are representing a manufacturer Plastic Injection Moulded components. This is a good opportunity for a Quality Engineer who can demonstrate best practice in terms of process and production within a TS16949 quality management system environment. This client will invest time and resources to ensure continuous development. Role: As the Quality Engineer you will assist in the management and improvement of the internal quality system to maintain optimum production and customer satisfaction.
This role will involve conducting P! roduction Part Approval Process (PPAP) and other similar part ! or process approval systems as required, the review and amendment of Failure Mode & Effects Analysis (FMEA), the formulation of action plans in relation to customer satisfaction, and process and product audits in line with TS16949 Quality Management System and documentation. Additionally, you will be required to monitor supplier performance, raise internal 8D's and investigate external 8D's as and when required. You will also be required to attend weekly meetings and deliver presentations regarding continuous improvement recommendations to the Management Team. Person: The successful candidate essentially will have strong experience in Quality Engineering.
You will demonstrate knowledge and experience of working with TS16949, PPAP's, FMEA's, control plans, auditing and implementation of corrective and preventive actions. The ideal candidate would be fully conversant with the accurate use of hand held measuring equipment & engineering drawings and IMDS knowledge woul! d be advantageous. Auditor qualification training will be provided if required. This role requires the successful candidate to have PC working knowledge (excel, PowerPoint, word), good interpersonal and communication skills including strong influencing and negotiation.
