My client is a leading utilities organisation based in South Wales who are looking to recruit a Incident Analyst into their Business information systems team, who work closely with the Service Delivery Team.
The organisation is going through an ambitious programme of projects to deliver upgrades to several of its key IT systems and technology platforms. The t! eam this role will sit with is responsible for supporting this business led change program and delivering these projects.
As the Incident Analyst you will be responsible for managing and owning the incident management function. You will work closely with the Service Management team, technical teams and technical leads to ensure the implementation and design of Incident Management process and procedures. You will also be responsible for managing all incidents and problems that occur following the take on of service management activities.
The Incident Manager will need to have an in-depth understanding of Incident Management in use in an operational organisation, Experience of working with ITIL and its frameworks. In addition to this ITIL V3 foundation certificate will be advantageous.
The successful candidate will have had at least 3 years previous experience in an Incident Management role, and proven working experience of managing major incidents ! in a high paced environment.
