We have an exciting opportunity for a self-motivated and customer-orientated individual to help deliver excellent standards of service to our customers within an important operational environment.
In this role, you will help to supervise our important train crew depot at Carmarthen. You will be responsible for ensuring that our high customer service & operational standards are consistently met. This will involve ensuring that our staff have all the tools they need to deliver our high levels of service & professionalism, which in turn, will help our Conductor Management team continue to maintain high standards across our network.
As the friendly face of Arriva, this diverse role allows you to help customers at our stations and occasionally on trains, offering help and information when required.
You will bring plenty of initiative and the ability to learn new skills quickly. With excellent communication skills, you will be committed to going the extra mile for our customers. You will be confident, with the ability to think on your feet and enjoy working as part of a team.
As this position has responsibility for controlling train shunting movements within the depot, you will also need to be able to attain safety critical standards
Flexibility is key so you will need to happy to work a variable shift pattern - which is 35 hours per week, over 5 days, including weekends and Bank Holidays.
