Our client is one of Europe's finest destinations for meetings, conferences and events, voted M&IT 'Best UK Hotel 2011, 2012 & 2013' and C&IT 'Top U! K Conference Hotel' for five consecutive years.
Their award-winning Convention Centre is purpose-built for everything from board meetings to major conferences. At its heart is the 1500 delegate Caernarfon Suite, with adjoining pre-function areas and world-class technical facilities. The Convention Centre also has 24 syndicate and meeting rooms, ranging from those seating ten boardroom style to the Beaumaris Suite, accommodating up to 170 for conferences.
In addition, the Resort also features an historic 19th century Manor House offering a choice of meeting and function rooms with a country house ambience and The Lodge one of Europe's largest and most luxurious golf clubhouses, offering conference and banqueting suites and function rooms for private dining.
Following in the footsteps of the Ryder Cup they also run a number of Special Events and there are some great opportunities to be involved in delivering 'outdoor' events such as Polo at the Mano! r taking place for the third year in June this year when we wi! ll be providing hospitality for close to 1000 guests on the practice ground of the 2010 course and the Celebrity Cup Golf tournament hosted by some famous faces which takes place over 2 days in July.

Job Overview
You will be one of 4 Floor Managers reporting to the Operations Manager and will be given responsibility for specific events across the department. Your role will be to control the day to day organisation of the department, organise and brief staff teams involved with the food and beverage element of the days events, meet and greet clients, and ensure that the highest standards of service are delivered as part of the customer's seamless journey through the Resort. You will need to be an excellent team player, a motivator, have g! ood communication skills, a passion for delivering high levels of customer service, possess a professional attitude and have high standards of presentation.
Having a background in hospitality operations you will have a passion for the industry and want to deliver our customers a memorable experience. Ideally you will have experience in a smaller 4* or 5* hotel as an Operations Manager or will have worked in an environment that has catered for high volume banqueting in a supervisory capacity and should have a hospitality qualifications at NVQ Level 3, HND or equivalent
