A Finance Business Partner is required to join a leading expert in immunoassay development and manufacturing services. They provide an extensive portfolio of products and technologies to the global diagnostic and pharmaceutical markets.
The Person
The role-holder should be an expert in manufacturing accounting and costing and should expect to be a cataly! st for change in identifying, communicating and increasing beneficial behaviours within the business.
The Role
This is a full-time role, working with the Finance Team (BFT) and the local Site Management Team (SMT) responsible for all internal and management financial reporting for the Dundee site based in the Cardiff office.
The role will be assisting their Dundee site so there will be travel involved - site visits to Dundee approximately a week per month for the first 6 months.
The role encompasses all aspects of financial management - including budgeting, forecasting, periodic performance reporting and balance sheet management incl. reconciliations to fixed asset register and stock ledgers etc.
- Preparation of Budgets, Quarterly Forecasts, reports and Business Plans for Group
- Ensure the participation, understanding and ownership of budgets/forecasts and cost control among site team members
- Preparation ! and publication of in-period financial reports for management ! & Group
- Develop weekly three month P&L forecast model.
- Timely execution of month end procedures and reconciliations in accordance with requirements of Operations and Shared Service Centre (SSC)
- Preparation of monthly financial management reports for submission to Group
- Preparation of monthly management reports, Key Performance Indicators (KPI) and Performance Indicators (PI) for SMT
- Working capital management to ensure optimal utilization
- Inventory analysis and variance reporting, provisions and ageing
- Prepare and maintain product costings
- Prepare business activity costings
