We are currently recruiting for two Housekeepers to work in Cardiff on our St Davids Hospital contract. This is a permanent position paying up to £7,311.20 per annum, with an add! itional allowance depending on experience.
With working hours of 20, Monday - Sunday, the individual will be a key team member for delivering high standards of work by assisting relevant Managers and other team members.The individual will ideally have previous experience in a similar role.

Requirements
Knowledge or experience of COSHH, Manual Handling, Fire Training, Food Hygiene awareness would be preferrable however full training will be provided.
Responsibilities
Follow cleaning specification for area to be cleaned with full understanding of locations, techniques, standards, materials etc.
Clean all designated areas within the time allocated for routine and emergency work.
Serving of food from the regeneration trolleys to the patients on the ward.
Preparation and serving of hot and cold beve! rages to the patients on the wards.
Collection of cutlery and crockery of wards and clean at ward level in the provided ward kitchen.
Deal with requests (or complaints) from supervisors or clients immediately.
Demonstrate full working knowledge of all cleaning equipment, materials and agents for routine and emergency activities.
Observe Trust’s and The Company’s quality, safety and rules at all times.
Report faulty or damaged cleaning and catering equipment to Supervisor.
Wear appropriate PPE as necessary.
Observe Trust’s and The Company’s Health & Safety regulations plus demonstrate and promote good safe working practices.
Comply with Health & Safety Procedures and Policies.
Observe and adhere to C.O.S.H.H. regulations.
Follow sound and safe working practice for electrical and hospital equipment, materials and agents.
