Working within our comfortable offices in central Cardiff, our Claims Technicians have overall responsibility for the pro-active management of a case load of domestic property claims from notification to settlement.

You must ensure the highest level of customer service whilst paying due attention to client requirements and controlling claims spend. You will be responsible for managing claims and dealing with the policyholders and also in some instances co-ordinating the site visit with one of our adjusters and thereafter conducting post visit negotiations. You may also be required to arrange for the instruction of sup! pliers and/or contractors on behalf of our clients. You are re! sponsible for interpreting and applying policy cover and Client philosophies.

You will have/will be:

• Experience of dealing with household claims
• Superb communications skills â€" listening and acting upon information given
• The ability to work on your own initiative and to meet deadlines
• Develop and maintain a close working relationship with the customers and brokers
• Understanding and empathy when required
• Be able to priorities your workload on a daily basis
• Excellent keyboard skills
• Excellent IT skills
